New chairman for NSW MCC

There has been a change at the top of the Motorcycle Council of New South Wales, with vice-chairman Rob Colligan to replace the recently appointed - but now hastily departing -- Scott Hawkins.

"The delegates and committee wanted t head inn a direction that I did not entirely agree with, so I thought it best to step aside and allow them to move to on as they saw fit," Hawkins told Australian Motorcycle News.

And Colligan said: "I feel we've got a lot of work to do. We've got some very big things coming up in the next few months, with the NSW election, so I will take the chair and move forward."
