BMW has updated its C 400 GT and C 400 X models for 2025, with the pair of luxe scooters set to arrive in Australia early next year.
Pricing for the X version starts at $11,390 plus on-road costs, while the GT version starts at $12,550 plus on-road costs.
Both models are now EU5+ homologated and are powered by a single-cylinder motor that produces 25kW (34hp) at 7500rpm and 35Nm at 5750rpm. The engine is combined with a continuously variable CVT transmission and a powerset swingarm.

While the overall design of the scooters is largely unchanged for 2025, the pair does come with a bunch of new equipment as standard. This includes ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, Dynamic Traction Control, and Engine Drag Torque Control.
Also new is a 6.5-inch TFT display as standard, with a 10.25-inch TFT display available as an option for the GT model.
Both the X and GT models have increased under-seat storage, with the X adding 3L of storage, and the GT adding up to 12L. There is also the option to buy a 43.5L top case that also includes interior lighting and a USB port. The GT model also now comes with an adjustable windshield as standard.

The X model is now available in a “Rugged” variant, which adds different colours and optional accessories. Meanwhile, the GT comes in an “Exclusive” variant, which similarly adds a different look and feel.
BMW Motorrad Australia expects the C 400 X and C 400 GT to launch locally in the first quarter of 2025.
