Kawasaki has just launched an updated version of its beginner bike at $3190, which the company says is a $300 reduction on the previous price.
According to the Kawasaki blurb: "With many easy to ride features and attractive KX styling, the 4-stroke KLX110 'mini-enduro' will give youngsters an introduction into the exciting world of off road riding. The KLX110 is specifically designed to teach young riders safe riding techniques and gain confidence without the added complications of having to learn clutch control.
"The KLX110 features a 111cm3 single cylinder, SOHC engine tuned to produce user friendly power that can be easily managed by entry level riders. Parents will appreciate the Throttle Limiting Screw located on the throttle housing. This feature allows limited throttle opening to help new riders gain experience at slower speeds. Four heat shields also help isolate the hot exhaust pipe for increased safety."
