New Australian importer for Beta
The trials and enduro wings of the business will now come under the one umbrellaGold Coast-based motorcycle importer Lowry Australia has been appointed the sole Australian distributor for Italian-made Beta motorcycles.
The new arrangement, which will take effect from May 28, 2018, will see Lowry Australia take over full custodianship of the enduro and trials ranges, replacing existing distributors Feet up Promotions Australia (enduro) and DHT Racing (trials).

These family values are core within our company and we pride ourselves on our commitment and ability to deliver a high level of service to our customers,” said Patrick Lowry, the Managing Director of Lowry Australia.
“I have grown up a motorbike enthusiast and I’m passionate about enduro, riding and racing from a young age. And I have already been in contact with existing trials dealers and plan to work with each of them for the future.
“I am confident we can learn from their experience and correctly support the trials community for future growth. I plan to be actively involved in continuing the support and enthusiasm that currently exists for the Beta brand, and look forward to guiding its future growth in Australia.
“Finally, Lowry Australia would like to reassure existing Beta owners that ongoing supply of spare parts support and after sales back-up will always be treated as a priority.”

Lowry Australia is also the Australian importer and distributor of YCF Motorcycles, while prior to starting Lowry Australia in 2014 Patrick Lowry played a key role in the distribution of Husqvarna motorcycles in Australia from 2004-2014.
Multiple Australian enduro and desert racing champion Ben Grabham will remain with Beta as the product manager, as well as competing in selected race events on the Italian machinery – including the famed Finke Desert Race and Hattah enduro.
