An overhauled 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 has been unveiled by the Italian manufacturer, with a new 850cc V-twin engine headlining the list of updates.
Previously known as the V7III, the new Moto Guzzi V7 has dropped the Roman numeral designation which has characterised each evolution of the model since it’s re-introduction to the market in 2007.

The overhauled machine debuts an updated V-twin powerplant that increases power from 52hp at 6200rpm, to 65hp at 6800rpm. Torque is also increased, rising from 60Nm at 4250rpm to 73Nm at 5000rpm. Moto Guzzi also claims that more than 80% of torque is available at 3000rpm.
Also featured is a larger cardan final drive, wider rear wheel, and a more-robust pair of Kayaba rear shock absorbers. There is also new stylish side panels, a shorter rear mud-guard, a new two-tier saddle, a new LED lighting system, and a new minimalist instrument cluster.
Two versions of the Moto Guzzi V7 will be available: Stone and Special. There will also be a power-reduced version for Italian A2 license holders.
The new Moto Guzzi V7 is expected to arrive on Australian shores in the middle of 2021.
