While the new KTM 450 SMC won’t be making its way to Australian shores, supermoto fans can breathe a sigh of relief, with Husqvarna Australia announcing the local arrival of the updated 2021 Husqvarna FS 450.
Based on the motocross-focused FC 450, the new 2021 Husqvarna FS 450 is a dedicated single-cylinder supermoto machine. Limited numbers of the machine will be available in Australia from January 2021.

The 2021 Husqvarna FS 450 is powered a 63hp single-cylinder engine that weighs just 27.3kg. An electric start button fires it into life, and the Pankl Racing 5-speed gearbox ensures smooth power delivery. Also featured is an updated WP XACT fork with AER technology, as well as a refined WP XACT shock.
Brembo braking components with 310mm and 220mm discs provide great stopping power, while the bike also benefits from CNC machine triple clamps, Alpina wheels, Bridgestone slick tyres, a carbon fibre composite subframe, Magura hydraulic clutch, launch control and high-grip seat cover.
Pricing for the new 2021 Husqvarna FS 450 is still to be announced, but it will hit Aussie dealer floors in very limited numbers from January 2021.
