Dubbed 'Thunder on the Hill', the 22nd annual National H.O.G. Rally will see Harley Owners Group members descend on Canberra, ACT, with the event to be held at Thoroughbred Park, Lyneham, over October 19-21.
Bikesales Network will be making the trek north from Melbourne to take in the sights, sounds and experiences that make a National H.O.G. Rally what it is -- a truly unique event on the Aussie motorcycling calendar. Musician Richard Clapton will be headlining a packed line-up of entertainment, and there will be a heap of vendor and trade stalls to check out. Add in the dyno drag simulator, biker bingo, an arm-wrestling competition, tattoo show, a show 'n' shine, and a biker challenge, and there will be plenty going on at the official rally site.
Of course, there's also a host of points of interest to check out in Canberra itself, plus the great roads that lie on its doorstep in just about every direction. A highlight of the rally will be the Thunder Run, which will see the capital's streets echoing with the boom of thousands of Harleys, as rally-goers hit the road en masse on the Sunday morning.
There are accommodation options to suit every budget, from camping in the rally's Tent City, to all grades of hotel accommodation, B&Bs and more.
