Australia’s governing body for motorcycle sport, Motorcycling Australia, will be holding its first ‘National Come and Try Day’ on Saturday, March 2, with race tracks catering for a multitude of disciplines set to entice those interested in starting out in motorcycle sport with a variety of hand-on events and activities.
The day represents a collaboration between MA and its various State Controlling Bodies, with events spanning the disciplines of motocross, trials, road racing, enduro, speedway, dirt track and quads to be held at a range of facilities in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
At each event skilled riders and officials will be on hand to provide expert guidance and support, while the affiliated clubs involved will plan a schedule that best showcases its chosen discipline.
Clubs will also have the opportunity to run a Club Practice Day alongside the ‘Come and Try’ activities.
Participants will receive a ‘Come and Try Day’ licence to cover the day free of charge and will also have the opportunity to apply for a free Annual Recreational Licence or a discounted full Annual Licence.
