MV teases F4Z

MV Agusta has released a teaser YouTube clip of its Zagato-styled sportsbike
Italian marque MV Agusta is on the cusp of revealing the latest addition to its stable of sportsbikes, with the brand recently unveiling a short teaser clip of its impending F4Z.
MV has teamed up with famed automotive design house Zagato to produce the F4Z, which is likely to see Zagato bodywork wrapped around the F4's engine and chassis.
Founded by Ugo Zagato in Milan, Italy, in 1919, over the years Zagato has played a hand in the design of vehicles bearing the badges of Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Marton, Bentley, Alfa Romeo and Jaguar, among others, and has a reputation for its aerodynamic and flowing designs.
An alliance between MV and a prestigious firm like Zagato shouldn't come as any surprise, as the boutique motorcycle manufacturer moves to shore up its finances against a difficult economic backdrop.
The company is currently exploring different ways to boost its revenue, most recently launching a motorcycle tour arm that allows riders from around the world to explore Italy on an MV Agusta Turismo Veloce 800.
MV Agusta hasn't released any further details of the F4Z, other than to say the motorcycle will be fully revealed on Sunday, September 4. Watch this space…
