MV Agusta has launched Reparto Veicoli Speciali (RVS), a new division of the company, with the RVS#1 its first unveiling
Based on the company's 800cc three-cylinder Dragster platform, the RSV#1, built in collaboration with the Castiglioni Research Centre (CRC), pumps out a whopping 150hp and tips the scales at 160kg – close to the magical 1:1 power-to-weight ratio.
The bike has a TIG hand-welded chassis, and the steel framework has been "enhanced with new aviation-grade aluminium lateral plates". On the right side is a milled RVS#1 logo, while there are detailed titanium plates mounted on the tank and “honeycomb” stitching on the seat.
Other details include:
A titanium exhaust – included in the supplied racing kit – has been designed together with SC-Project specifically for the race track.
Only current or previous customers are eligible to order the motorcycle through their MV Agusta dealership. The RVS #1 will be available to order until the end of June 2017, so you'll have to be quick.
Price? MV Agusta hasn't spilt the beans, so that'll be anoyher conversation with your local dealer.
