MV Agusta has introduced Euro 4 certification for its F3 675 and F3 800 sports bikes, as well as the Dragster 800 RR naked bike.
As well as reducing gas and nose emissions on the three-cylinder range by a claimed 50 and 40 per cent respectively, MV Agusta has also carried out some further mechanical, electronic and chassis updates across the three models.
As well as a new balance shaft, the F3 and Dragster's updates include redesigned primary gearing, new intake cam profiles, new profile intake valves, the introduction of a harmonic damper to absorb vibration and reduce noise, a redesigned gear shifter, a redesigned starter motor, a new catalytic converter and larger-volume silences. The F3 800 also has new exhaust valve springs.
Maximum power and torque remain the same for all bikes: 128hp/71Nm for the F3 675, 148hp/88Nm for the F3 800, and 140hp/87Nm for the Dragster 800 RR.
The traction control parameters have also been completely redesigned, while there have also been improvements to the two-way powershifter.
The Euro models will start arriving in Australia from October 2017.
