To mark its 75th anniversary, Italian marque MV Agusta has unveiled the 2021 MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario. But for those looking to secure one of the 75 examples produced, the horse has already bolted, with the entire production run snapped up soon after online sales opened.
Adopting a model with which MV Agusta has experienced much sales success in recent years, the MV Agusta Superveloce 75 Anniversario was only offered for sale via MV's website.
The offer was scheduled to run for 75 hours from midnight (Central European Time) on Sunday, November 15, but the time limit proved unnecessary – the entire run of 75 models sold out in seconds!

The rest of us, then, are left to drool over the images of the Superveloce 75 Anniversario. Powered by an F3 800-derived inline triple, the model produces a claimed 147hp at 13,000rpm and is capable of a top speed of 240km/h.
In addition to the sublime tricolore colour scheme, the black and gold Inmotion spoked rims, and the red Alcantara seat unit, the bike sports a 'track-use-only' three-exit Arrow exhaust, an ECU with dedicated high-performance mapping, a numbered aluminium steering head plate, a painted tail cover, and a unique bike cover.
"We chose the Superveloce as an iconic base to develop our celebrative model for it perfectly embodies the balance between modern forms and MV Agusta's racing legacy," said Tim Sardarov, MV Agusta's CEO.
The launch of the model coincides with the roll-out of a new-look website for MV Agusta, in a year in which the company is reflecting on its proud three-quarter century heritage, while eyeing a bright new future.
"I am glad the launch of the 75 Anniversario coincides with that of our new official website, which was designed to offer MV Agusta fans around the world a complete, immersive experience into our world," Mr Sardarov said.
