MV Agusta has provided a mid-year update following its separation from KTM and says it will reveal an all-new model prior to EICMA 2025.
While the process of transferring full ownership from Pierer Mobility AG to MV Agusta’s own Art of Mobility is still ongoing, the company says it is approaching the “final stages” and will mark a pivotal step in strengthening its position in the global market.
Art of Mobility is controlled by the Sardarov family, meaning that MV Agusta will soon be back in the hands of Timur Sardarov. It will also bring all departments to its traditional home of Varese, Italy.
MV Agusta’s statement also revealed the brand wants to embark on a “significant expansion of its international operations”, with plans to open independent regional offices to manage key markets in Europe, America, Oceania, and Asia. To achieve this, MV says it has already finalised agreements with private importers.
The brand is still collaborating with KTM’s logistics network for spare parts operations with no change in service levels, but a deal with a “leading global logistics partner” to manage its spare parts supply chain is imminent.
Perhaps more exciting is the news that MV Agusta is developing an all-new motorcycle that apparently will feature just 1 per cent carry-over parts from the previous generation.
The new model, which will be unveiled just before EICMA 2025, is just the beginning of a “renewed” product range that will also see the brand enter new market segments.
A new engine platform is also in development and will debut at EICMA 2025, with MV saying it is aimed at “redefining hyper-performance in the motorcycle world”.
