MV Agusta has launched its MV Ride app, which allows for connectivity between smartphones and MV Agusta motorcycles.
The app includes a number of functions split into three main sections. The ‘My Bike’ menu allows users to access specific data, such as battery charge and fuel level, and customise a range of different option such as suspension setup, traction control and ABS, and engine mapping. Users can save their favourite preferences to the machine.

An ‘Itineraries’ section offers turn-by-turn navigation via the bikes TFT colour screen, as well as on the smartphone. Routes can be saved for future reference and can be shared with other MV Ride users.
The ‘Trips’ section records data from recent trips, including lean angels, gear shifts and throttle use. Pictures can also be added to the trip summary and shared with other users.
“MV Agusta is focused on growing our family while at the same time bringing them together through our new connectivity platform,” said Brian Gillen, MV Agusta’s R&D Director. “This new platform will allow users to have a new level of connection with their motorcycle and, more importantly, the entire MV Agusta community.”
The MV Ride app will be compatible with all Euro5 models, and is currently compatible with models equipped with the second-generation 5.5-inch TFT screen. These models include the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro, Brutale 1000 RR, Superveloce 800 Serie Oro and Superveloce 800.
The app is initially available in Italian and English languages, and is already available as a free download on the Apple App Store.
