MV Agusta Enduro Veloce revealed for 2025
Now under the control of KTM, iconic Italian brand MV Agusta has announced a new three-cylinder middleweight adventure bikeMV Agusta has made its first big move since being taken over by KTM, with the new Enduro Veloce marking the Italian brand’s entry into the booming middleweight adventure segment.
And judging by the spec sheet, MV Agusta is taking a leaf out of KTM's book by giving the Enduro Veloce some serious off-road chops.
Based heavily on the limited-edition LXP Orioli machine that was revealed at EICMA in November, the new MV Agusta Enduro Veloce is powered by a 931cc inline three-cylinder engine that is capable of 124hp at 10,000rpm, and 102Nm at 7000rpm.
The dual-sport machine also boasts a 21-inch front wheel, a six-speed gearbox with quickshift, Sachs suspension with 210mm of travel front and rear, 230mm of ground clearance, and Brembo Stylema brakes.
Also featured on the new model is a six-axis IMU, four ride modes, ride-by-wire throttle, adjustable traction control (which can be customised depending on tyre choice), cornering ABS, rear-wheel lift mitigation, cruise control, a 7-inch TFT display with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, keyless ignition, and LED lighting.
The Enduro Veloce has been a long time coming, with MV first announcing it’s “Lucky Explorer Project” back in 2021. The Luck Explorer Project was meant to pay tribute to the Cagiva Elefant that won the Dakar Rally twice in the 90s.
Two Lucky Explorer models – a 930cc triple based on the companies 800cc platform and a 550cc parallel-twin model built by Qianjiang in China – were unveiled in November 2021 at EICMA, but they never made it into production.
The LXP Orioli was revealed at EICMA last year as a limited-edition model, with the new Enduro Veloce marking the mass-production version of that bike. Interestingly, the Lucky branding (a former cigarette company that sponsored Cagiva’s Dakar efforts) is now nowhere to be seen.
KTM bought its first stake in MV Agusta in late 2022, before it completed the takeover in March of this year.
Early reports suggest that the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce will hit dealer floors globally later this year, but it is not known when it will land in Australia.
