MV Agusta Imports, the Australian MV Agusta importer and distributor, has announced its new 2013 Brutale 800 EAS and 2013 Brutale 800 EAS Italia will be priced at $16,490 (rideaway) and $17,490 (rideaway) respectively.
According to MV Agusta Imports, these two bikes are the most competitively priced MV models seen in Australia, while the new 798cc in-line triple-cylinder engine features more power and torque and delivers enhanced ride characteristics.
The pair also comes packed with an array of sophisticated electronics, including a ride-by-wire throttle, a choice of ride modes, eight-level integrated traction control and EAS (Electronically Assisted Shift) as standard.
The bike weighs in with a paltry claimed dry weight of just 167kg, while the engine is said to produce 92kW (125hp) at 11,600rpm and 81Nm (59.7ft-lb) at 8600rpm. The combination, says MV Agusta, is a super-light bike with a “unique” power-to-weight ratio.
The Brutale 800 joins the Brutale 675 in the MV Agusta line-up.
Available in Ruby Metallic Red/Silver, White/Mamba Red, or Matt Metallic Grey/Pearl White, and the special edition ‘Italia’ livery, the Brutale 800 EAS and Brutale 800 EAS Italia will be hitting MV Agusta dealerships in March. For more information visit www.mvagustaimports.com.au
