MV Agusta has announced it will introduce a new 'exclusive' Brutale 1090 RR Corse model in September, its most potent naked bike yet.
The Italian-made model will be priced at $27,490 and is the "absolute pinnacle of the four cylinder naked line from MV Agusta," says the company.
Positioned one rung above the Brutale 1090 RR, the new model is powered by a 1078cc four-cylinder engine that kicks out 158hp (116kW), which will ensure brutal (excuse the pun) acceleration.
But it's the chassis tweaks that are expected to make the Brutale 1090 RR Corse a real weapon, as MV Agusta has added several new bits, including a race mode that reduces the intrusiveness of the ABS system.
Ohlins Nix 43mm forks suspend the front wheel, a Sachs shock the rear wheel, and forged wheel are expected to reduce unsprung weight.
Several new parts have been machined from billet too: top triple clamp; clutch lever; front brake lever; footrests; clutch and brake master cylinder covers.
Carbon fibre hasn't been forgotten either, with the passenger seat cover, front fender and rear wheel hugger made from the exotic, lightweight material.
Other extras include unique decals -- ruby metallic red/pearl white -- and the frame is finished in blkac gloss.
The new model will arrive locally in September and be priced from $27,490, ride-away.
