Movie Time

The movie The World's Fastest Indian is now screening in Australia and has been getting some good reviews from motorcyclists and normal people.

It's the life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967. Munro is played by Anthony Hopkins.

Meanwhile we're hearing that a movie on the late and great Mike Hailwood is being made, produced by Michael Ohove, who also did the award-winning Capote. Hailwood did much tro help the racing reputation of Honda and Ducati and is famous for coming out of retirement after ten years and winning the F1 class at the 1978 Isle of Man TT.
