Motorcycling Australia is launching a new initiative called Ride Parks Australia. The program has been designed to encourage recreational riding at existing motorcycle clubs around the country.
Using a streamlined Public Liability (PL) insurance program, the Ride Parks Australia concept hopes to make recreational riding fun, easy and affordable.
A series of ‘Ride Park Days’ has been trialled in several states over the last 18 months with great success. The Ride Park Days are held at clubs and venues that opt to be part of Ride Parks Australia. The Ride Park Days are non-competitive and have been created for affordable social and recreational riding.

Both MA members and non-members can attend the Ride Park Days, with the entry fees structured to ensure affordability for riders and families. MA license holders pay the same fees as non-members but will benefit from MA Personal Accident scheme cover.
MA CEO, Peter Doyle, is excited about the new initiative. “Ride Parks Australia is all about giving the social rider access to quality local facilities at an affordable price,” he explained. “RPA is not based around the sporting side of the business and the restrictive rules and regulations that come with competition. These ride days are for families, friends and kids to enjoy social riding at venues that can cater for all levels of riders.”
MA will release more information soon.
