The scooter segment also jumped forward with a 15.4 per cent increase resulting in 2499 units sold in the first half of 2021. Scooters have proved popular during the pandemic for urban commuters and food delivery riders.
Off-highway vehicles (OHV), which includes ATV’s and UTVs, slowed considerably after a booming 2020, with a 5.3 per cent decrease in sales. Through the first half of 2021, 13,779 OHVs were sold.
