Motorcycle Trader scores great growth

Motorcycle Trader has recorded an all-time high ABC audit figure of 31,130 copies sold per month in Australia for the period July-Dec 2005.

This represents for Motorcycle Trader a 9.08 per cent increase year on year and a whopping 15.25 per cent rise over the last two years.

The growth does not look likely to stop there, with the dirt bike sector undergoing huge growth and participation rates the highest in recent memory. MT is well-placed, offering dedicated dirt and road bike sections.

This stellar audit performance has not only placed MT ahead of its main rival in Two Wheels, but pushed itself further ahead of other major titles in this market. (See below chart).

"Readers are enjoying the classy combination of editorial combined with the chance to buy and sell, as well as browse the hundreds of bike for sale. BikePoint.com.au has also found itself as a successful tool for MT, driving customers to this leading bike website," said Trader Editor Greg Leech.

"The future looks bright for MT and, with an exciting bike giveaway competition upcoming, year 2006/07 is set to be another successful one," he added.
