Motorcycle safe haven
A Japanese security company has unveiled a camera/motorcycle hybrid -- that's what happens when you commission the project to a custom bike builderJapan Security System Co. wanted to develop a new high-definition security camera for use with their clients. For reasons the company could only elaborate on, it contacted Chicara Nagata to complete the project. Nagata is not a security camera nut – as far as we are aware – but instead a well-known designer of high-end custom motorcycles. He’s a sublime talent:
Well, what Nagata returned with after the commission by Japan System Security Co. is a mix between a high-tech camera and a 49cc motorcycle. The whole is built around a 49cc Honda internal combustion engine and several consumer-level Sony surveillance cameras.
Instead of headlights and tail lights, Nagata put in HD Sony cameras — complete with night-vision LED lights — with two more cameras built into the seat pan, looking out both sides. The motorcycle effectively has 360-degree vision, and someone can actually ride it.
