The Superbike races will again form the final round of the Phillip Island Championship.

Three-time world superbike champion Troy Bayliss' teenage son Oli will be competing in the Supersport 300 class, which has experienced a massive boom over the last couple of seasons.

“The shift in classes has seen the boom of the Supersport 300, where young riders and future talent have a chance to gain professional experience,” Bayliss said.

“It will be great to see Oli race at the international Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2017 for the first time,” he said.
