Moto Guzzi has launched its V7III Limited in the ritzy French coastal city of Biarritz as part of the Wheels and Waves festival.
The chrome tank on the V7 III Limited is an obvious reference point, which is ‘wrapped’ on the top under a black leather vintage-look strap. The Moto Guzzi eagle is completed with a burnished finish, the front and rear fenders and side panels are carbon-fibre, and the fuel cap and handlebar risers are made from billet aluminium. The risers also bear the model's laser-inscribed serial number.

The throttle body covers are made from black anodised aluminium. The instrumentation is a single, circular display with analogue speedometer and the other information contained on a digital display.
Last year, Moto Guzzi updated the 744cc transverse V-twin in the V7III with a new crankcase, a new lubrication system and pistons specific to the V7.
That amounted to 10 per cent more power than the old model while peak torque (unchanged at 60Nm) now falls later in the rev range – but the torque curve is flatter so it essentially delivers the grunt across a wider spread.
We’re still awaiting word from Moto Guzzi Australia on how many units will be coming to Australia.
