
Moto Guzzi Australia has announced the new Moto Guzzi California 1400 Audace and Eldorado will go on sale locally in August 2015.
The third variant of the existing California 1400 announced at last year's EICMA show in Milan, the California Touring S.E, has already gone on sale for $26,500 rideaway (HERE), while the Eldorado and Audace will retail for $23,500 and $24,000 rideaway.
The Audace and Eldorado come standard with a ride-by-wire throttle, switchable engine mapping, cruise control, anti-lock braking and traction control. The Audace has a revised exhaust system, and other features include a circular headlight, carbon mudguard, metallic radiator grille, short Euro 4-approved megaphone exhaust, new side covers, and it has footpegs instead of footboards. The Audace will be available in Nero Travolgente.
Meanwhile, the Eldorado is a "modern interpretation of the orginial Eldorado 850" that was manufactured between 1972 and 1975, it has spoked wheels, an oversized saddle, a gem-shaped taillight and bullhorn handlebars. The fuel tank which features a tear-drop motif complete with chrome details and two white coach lines. All-new wrap-around mudguards cling tightly to the whitewall tyres.
