Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 'Corsa'

Italian motorcycle marque Moto Guzzi has taken the wraps off a new special edition 1200 Sport, showing off a strawberries and cream colour scheme

Unveiled in the UK today, the new Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 'Corsa' special edition shows that a new lick of paint can do a lot for a motorcycle.

Finished in red and white livery, the Moto Guzzi 1200 sport 'Corsa' special edition model is available as at the same price as standard models in the UK, but at this stage it doesn't look like coming to Australia.

Whether it arrives Down Under or not, the appealing 1200 Sport 'Corsa' is very easy on the eyes but that's where the changes end for the 1200 Sport, which has been around in this guise since 2006.

The chassis and powertrain are untouched, meaning the 1151cc V-twin engine still pumps out 105hp (77kW) and 104Nm.

Marzocchi forks, Marchesini wheels and Brembo brakes provide the Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 'Corsa' with a tidy chassis and also a list of home-grown components.

Guzzi's big-bore naked has an 800mm seat height and comes with a big 23 litre fuel tank.
