Twenty stars of Australian motorcycle racing will contest the Baylisstic Scramble Teams Challenge at the 2018 Melbourne Moto Expo from November 23-25.
The flat track event at the Melbourne Showgrounds is the brainchild of three-time world superbike champion Troy Bayliss, with four teams of five riders to hail from disciplines including road racing, motocross, dirt track and speedway.
“I am really excited to be able to confirm this event as part of Moto Expo,” Bayliss said.
“It creates an incredible opportunity for the public to come and watch some of Australia’s best racers from a variety of disciplines compete against each other in the heart of the city.
“Nowhere else in Australia can you see these riders come together to compete in the same event.
“Visitors to Moto Expo can expect to be entertained with thrilling bar-to-bar racing action and it is all included in the general admission ticket price.”

The teams, which will be announced shortly, will vie for $5000 in prizes, with practice on Saturday followed by racing on Sunday.
Over 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the bi-annual Moto Expo, which will showcase the latest motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and side-by-sides, as well as offering test rides on a range of bikes.
Other entertainment will include demonstrations, stunts and Crumpy’s City Slide – and Bikesales will be announcing our 2018 Bike of the Year on the Friday!
