Victorian Kade Mosig will partner Jacob Wright on the CDR Yamaha motocross team for the 2015 season, with the duo to race YZ450Fs in the top flight MX1 category.
Mosig had an impressive 2014 on a privateer Yamaha, highlighted with his first MX1 victory at Swan Hill. He previously guest rode with CDR Yamaha during the 2013 supercross series.
“There is no doubt that CDR Yamaha is the most professional and successful team in Australian motocross and it is a privilege to represent them in 2015,” Mosig said. “My time with them in 2013 was cut short due to injury so to get this chance again means a lot to me and I will give it my all and return the faith they have shown in me.
“This year was a good one for me in many ways and I think I have matured on and off the track. My speed was good and I was also able to deal with things much better. I have also come to the realisation that there is no better job than racing motocross and it’s time I really I make the most of my ability to ride a dirtbike as it’s not going to last forever. CDR has thrown his support behind me and there are no excuses in 2015.”
CDR Yamaha kicks off its 2015 season at the opening round of the Australia MX Nationals in late March.
