Moriwaki to join MotoGP

Tuner develops 600 for 2011

European online mag Motor Box reports that Japanese aftermarket runner Moriwaki has ambitious plans to join the new MotoGP 600 class in 2011, with a Honda-based motorcycle.

The company has displayed its first attempt at the class, which is likely to get a few outings in the domestic race scene.

What is clear from the pic is the company isn't afraid to stick its neck out, having developed its own frame and swingarm.

The powerplant is a CBR600RR unit and is sporting unique stubby exhausts.

MotoGP is phasing out 250 four-strokes by the end of 2010, in favour of 600 four-strokes.
