Honda Australia has announced its limited-edition Moriwaki CBR250R is just days away from reaching its national dealer network.
The entry-level sports bike made its Australian debut at the recent Australian Motorcycle Expo in Melbourne and boasts an eye-catching Moriwaki Engineering livery that pays homage to the famous Japanese performance tuning house, plus a limited-edition Moriwaki exhaust. Honda says the latter is a performance pipe for track use only.
Like the standard CBR250R, the Moriwaki CBR250R will be available in both standard and ABS-equipped formats.
Powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, 249cc single-cylinder engine, the CBR250R seized the title of Australia’s top-selling road bike in 2011 (ignoring Honda’s CT110 postie bike), even though it was only introduced in April of that year.
The Moriwaki CBR250R retails for $5710, while the ABS-equipped version retails for $6220. That’s $220 and $230 more than the standard CBR250R respectively. For more information visit www.hondamotorcycles.com.au or see your nearest Honda dealer.
