Yamaha has expanded its local cruiser range to offer what it sees as both kinds of cruiser: 'Classic' and 'Custom'.The variations are offered for the XV1100 and 650, which the maker says are now priced better than their predecessors.
Before you get your chaps in a twist, we'll explain the different between classic and custom. Apparently the classics come with wide front wheels and deeply valanced guards, while the customs have narrower front hoops and bobbed rear guards.
The 1100 Classic costs $14,999 and the Custom $13,999, while the 650 equivalents cost $10,499 and $9999 respectively. All prices are plus ORC and include a two-year warranty.
