Monster Jam returning in 2015

Back Down Under for another set of thunderous shows, with Perth now joining Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne on the calendar

After the phenomenal success of the inaugural tour in 2014, Monster Jam is returning to Australia in 2015, with the five-tonne trucks to take part in a four-city tour starting in Brisbane on October 3. The tour then heads to Melbourne (October 10, two shows), Sydney (October 17) and Perth (October 24, two shows).

New to the show in 2015 will be a Donut Competition and Sky Wheelie battle, in addition to the Monster Jam Freestyle and Racing showdowns. Plus, don’t miss your chance to see the trucks, meet the drivers and get their autographs at the Party in the Pits. Pit Passes run for $15 but have limited availability.

Up to 12 of Monster Jam’s biggest stars are heading down under, including Grave Digger, 11-time world champion Max-D, current Monster Jam World Finals Racing champion Metal Mulisha, and the hot pink fan favourite Madusa (Madusa and Metal Mulisha won't be appearing in Perth, though).
New competitors for 2015 include Zombie, Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, Monster Mutt Dalmatian and many more.

The Monster Jam trucks are up to four metres tall and four metres wide, powered by octane-injected engines producing up to 2000hp which help them accelerate from 0-100km/h in under three seconds. They sit on enormous hand-carved tyres that take 50 hours to cut and are more than 1.7m high.

The Monster Jam trucks literally fly, covering up to 50m in a single leap or 12m skywards. They are into destruction, racing and ripping around custom-designed tracks, and in 2014 they collectively crushed more than 3000 cars, buses, caravans, boats, large trucks and even airplanes in their 350 shows around the globe.
