Ducati Australia has set retail pricing for its new Monster 821, and is as follows:
First deliveries will commence in September, 2014.
The machine utilises the Testastretta 11° engine that has already featured in the company's latest Hypermotard, producing 112hp and 89Nm. The 821 has an integrated trellis frame, with the engine used a stressed member. Dry weight is a claimed 179.5kg.
Electronics include eight-level traction control, three-level anti-lock braking and three different riding modes through the ride-by-wire throttle. The package is similar to that found on the new Monster 1200.
