Defending champion Daniel Milner has moved into the lead at the halfway mark of the 2014 Yamaha Australian Four Day Enduro (A4DE), which is being held at Riverwood Downs in NSW.
Milner (Yamaha, pictured) leads KTM’s Toby Price, by 29 seconds, with day one leader Chris Hollis (Yamaha) and Josh Strang (Yamaha) also within a minute of the lead.
The event now looks like a battle between those four – all past A4DE winners except for Strang -- with fifth-placed Lachlan Stanford (Husqvarna) over two minutes behind Milner.
Day three will be more special tests in the surrounding countryside, and if Price can manage to keep Milner in sight the final motocross test on day four will be fascinating as Price is a former multiple Australian junior champion and will certainly be putting the pressure on.
The individual classes are being led by Yamaha’s Tom McCormack (E1), Milner (E2) and Husqvarna’s Glenn Kearney (E3).
