Millyard V10 Viper

This V10 Viper-cycle is venomous

The Suzuki Hayabusa has been one of the most powerful street bikes for 10 long years, but power mongers should get a load of this stunning 10-cylinder beast.

Some mad bloke from old Blighty has shoe-horned the engine from a Dodge Viper, an 8.0-litre V10, into a custom chassis.

It's called the Millyard Viper V10. And it's really, really long.

Outputting around 500hp and more than 600Nm of torque, the 490 cubic inch engine could be expected to generate a lot of centrifugal force, so carelessness with the throttle would probably result in tears…

Allen Millyard is the man behind the machine, who proves in the video that this 500hp uber-bike is rideable. It's even got a centre stand that can be worked by a foot operated ratchet system, which would be handy for a motorcycle that weighs roughly the same as an Indian elephant.

With an ultra long wheelbase, the Dodge Viper V10 powerplant is slung between the front and rear wheels and delivers an endearingly lumpy exhaust note.

Check out the video clip below and with any luck Millyard will develop a supercharged miller-cycle version. As the saying goes, too much is never enough…
