Buoyed by the wonderful time he had in 2021, Aussie MotoGP fan favourite Jack Miller has made good on his promise to return and compete in the final round of the 2022 Australian Superbike Champion at The Bend Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend (SA) from November 25-27.

The 27-year-old, who is currently riding a wave of great form in the MotoGP title with podiums in three of the last four races, will again ride a Ducati Panigale V4 R at The Bend – although by that time he will technically be a KTM factory rider in MotoGP after having ridden the firm’s RC16 in the post-season test session at Valencia.
However, with KTM obviously not in the superbike frame, Miller will again be on the booming Panigale V4 R at the 4.9km South Aussie circuit, which he will again have to ride with a standard ECU as per the ruling from his MotoGP masters.
Still a potent package mind you, and in his first appearance at The Bend in 2021 Miller finished third behind Wayne Maxwell (Ducati) and Glenn Allerton (BMW) in race two.

“I am looking forward to heading back to Adelaide to race in the Australian Superbike Championship event at The Bend in November,” said Miler. “I had a heap of fun with my friends and family last year and can’t wait to do it all over again.”
Two rounds remain in the 2022 Australian Superbike Championship, with Phillip Island (November 17-20) the precursor to The Bend. Maxwell (Ducati, 213pts) scored a clean sweep in the most recent round, but the ultra-consistent Mike Jones (Yamaha, 242pts) will still take some beating.

Meanwhile, Miller continues his farewell MotoGP campaign with Ducati at Misano on September 4, where he is fifth in the standings and only a few points behind Frenchman Johann Zarco.
The return of MotoGP at Philip Island will be held from October 14-16. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.motogp.com.au.
