The all-new Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide ST is on its way to Australia with the American brand calling it “the pinnacle of bagger performance”.
Harley Australia included the bike as part of its 2024 new model reveal which also include the updated versions of the standard Road Glide and Street Glide.
According to the Harley-Davidson website, the CVO Road Glide ST will start from $62,995 ride away. Incredibly, despite extra power and new equipment, the ST is $400 less than the CVO Road Glide that debuted in July last year.
Powered by the up-spec Milwaukee-Eight 121 High Output V-twin engine, the CVO Road Glide ST is capable of 126hp and a whopping 193Nm of torque. According to the Motor Company, those figures are the highest ever from a factory-installed engine in a production Harley-Davidson model.
The bike also has altered gearing for enhanced acceleration and a Screamin’ Eagle exhaust system.
The CVO Road Glide ST also uses alternate materials including titanium and forged carbon to help reduce dry weight to 366kg – approximately 11.3kg less than the regular CVO Road Glide.
Suspension is taken care of by an inverted 47mm Showa 1x1 fork and dual rear Showa shock absorbers – all fully-adjustable and designed to increase handling performance. There is also premium Brembo braking components for improved stopping power.
Like the CVO Road Glide, the ST version has a full infotainment suite powered by the new Skyline OS system. A colour touch screen replaces all analogue gauges, while audio is enhanced by a Rockford Fosgate State II speaker set and a 500-watt amplifier.
The bike also has five selectable rider modes, plus additional custom modes. In addition to the standard Road, Sport, and Rain modes featured on the regular models, the ST version also adds Track and Track Plus modes.
Topping off the list of updates, the ST also gets two premium paint options – Golden White Pearl and Raven Metallic – and both are complete with a prominent Screamin’ Eagle graphics inspired by the King of the Baggers series. All CVO models also include 25th Anniversary graphics.
