Melbourne to Sydney adventure ride

Yamaha and RideADV announce second Bridge to Bridge even

Yamaha has announced its second Bridge to Bridge adventure ride with RideADV, this time a seven-day GPS navigation ride from Melbourne’s Westgate Bridge to Sydney’s Harbour Bridge.

Following on from the success of the 2014 Sydney-Brisbane ride in memory of the late Tony Kirby, the 2016 event will start in Melbourne on Sunday 17 April. The ride isn’t limited to Yamaha machinery and participants will have the choice of two off-road routes suitable for varying levels of skill with the option to switch between the two during the week-long event.

Each routes will have both a sweep and fully-equipped support vehicles which, for a small additional fee, will deliver your luggage to your accommodation each night. Participants book their own accommodation chosen from a list of preferred places which range from pubs, motels and caravan parks.

The ride will take in some of the most scenic and best roads on Australia’s east coast and finish with a group photo in front of the Harbour Bridge on Sunday 24 April. Prices start from $695.
