Melbourne Pink Ribbon Ride
The organizers of this year's Pink Ribbon Ride in Melbourne - which aids breast cancer funding - want you to put October 22 aside in your diary.They say: 2006 sees some exciting changes, including prizes for best decorated bike, best dressed person, an exclusive early-bird prize for registrations received before 30.9.2006, not to mention a major raffle (tickets available soon - we will keep you informed). Our aim for 2006 is to raise $50,000 - five times the amount raised in 2005, with this year's proceeds donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Details: Sunday 22 October, at Bunnings Warehouse -- 636 Burwood Highway, Vermont South. Register (and more info) at www.prmr.org.au.
