Yamaha’s stunt bike rider Dave McKenna is set to wow the crowds at the 2014 36th annual MRASA Toy Run on Sunday, December 14, with all the action kicking off from 9:00am at the Clipsal track in Victoria Park.
McKenna will be riding the MT-09, as well as the 207hp turbo-charged MT-09 drift bike, both machines recently appearing at Melbourne Moto Expo in the hands of the 27-year-old. McKenna will be available to meet and greet from 8.30-11.00am, and also doing two 20-minute stunt shows at 9:00am and 10:00am.
The Toy Run will be departing from the Clipsal track at 11:00am, and will make its way to Callington Oval via Hutt St, Glen Osmond Road and the South Eastern Freeway. Speeds will remain lower than posted limits: about 40km/h in the suburbs, and initially about 60km/h on the freeway to enable riders who are separated by traffic lights to catch up. It will be then 80km/h to the Callington exit.
