McCoy takes on ambassadorial role
The former 125 GP, 500 GP and World Superbike winner has joined the Pirelli motorcycle stable in AustraliaEx-road racing star Garry McCoy is the new ambassador for Pirelli motorcycle tyres in Australia.
After a long and successful professional motorcycle racing career which included race wins in the 125 GP, 500 GP and World Superbike titles, McCoy will be placed to offer his insights to both track day punters and road riders alike. McCoy, now based in Queensland, will attend selected events throughout the year for Pirelli.
Garry is increasing his activities as a coach for current and emerging Australian road racing talent through Advanced Rider Training and the Motorcycle Sportsmen of Queensland. He is also developing his own training facilities for flat track, speedway and motocross riders.
