Jay Marmont will again be a Yamaha-backed motocross and supercross rider in 2011, extending his relationship with the Japanese manufacturer to a fourth successive year.
"The CDR Rockstar Yamaha team is the best in the business with great bikes, the right infrastructure and the hardest working crew in the pits," said Marmont. "As a team it has the same goals as me and we all work together to make those goals a reality.
"The process was a simple one where I wanted to race for the team, CDR wanted me to stay and we got the deal done. I couldn't be happier and think that we can continue to build on what is already a very successful partnership."
CDR is managed by former Australian champion Craig Dack.
Marmont has been the dominant rider in Australia since joining the CDR Rockstar Yamaha team, and the new deal will see him defend his national motocross championship and compete in the Australasian Super X title aboard the YZ450F.
But his most immediate goal will be representing Australia in the 2010 Motocross of Nations alongside Brett Metcalfe and Dean Ferris. Marmont has just been named as the replacement for the ill Chad Reed, and the annual teams' event will be held in Colorado on September 25-26.
CDR is set to announce Marmont's 2011 team-mate early next week, and it appears that Victorian Cheyne Boyd's tenure with the Geelong-based outfit has come to an end.
