Mark Coma leads Dakar rally

Aussie David Schwarz in 15th

Dutchman Frans Verhoeven (KTM) has won the 237km second stage of the 2009 Dakar rally in South America, and is now second overall in the standings, a whopping 13:47 in arrears of 2006 champion Marc Coma (KTM).

Frenchman David Fretigne (Yamaha) is third overall, with defending champion Cyril Despres (KTM) already playing catch up in 12th, 30 minutes behind Coma.

Australian David Schwarz has made a great start on his KTM 690 Rally, and is 15th with some big names behind him.
