Maddo seeded for 2010 X-Fighters
FMX showpiece to start in Mexico on April 16After finishing third and second over the past two years, Australia's Robbie Maddison will begin his quest to reach the Red Bull X-Fighters summit when the 2010 title begins in Mexico City on April 16.
The world's premier freestyle motocross series is no longer an invitational, but the top six riders from 2009 have all pre-qualified.
Maddison is obviously one of the seeds, alongside current champion Nate Adams, Eigo Sato, Mat Rebeaud, Dany Torres and New Zealander Levi Sherwood.
The remaining spots on the starting list will be for qualifiers and wildcards.
The full X-Fighters calendar is as follows:
April 16: Mexico City, Mexico
May 14: Giza, Egypt
June 26: Moscow, Russia
July 22-23: Madrid, Spain
August 14: London, Great Britain
October 1: Rome, Italy
