Motorcycling Australia has announced the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) will be holding a five-day training camp in Canberra over November 25-29, 2013, with a program tailored to road race, speedway and dirt track racers looking to take their skills to the next level.
The camp will cover subjects such as fitness and physical conditioning, nutrition, and sports psychology, among others, while MA says bike-specific training will be handled by some of the nation’s best coaches. Participants will need to bring their own motorcycle to the camp.
A number of “special guests” will also be on hand to give young riders some insights into the challenges of embarking upon a professional career.
To apply visit www.ma.org.au. Applications close by the close of business on Monday, September 2, with applicants to be notified of the outcome of their application by mail.
