One of Australia's best-known freestyle motocross riders, Matt Schubring, has added a new chapter to his ongoing career highlights - toys!
The "Little Schuie" figurines have just been launched by the 2004 Australian FMX champion, and were designed by Matt Schubring after he saw an opening for an FMX specific kids toy.
The idea is that kids with a love of motorcycles can enjoy play time with a toy to stoke their imagination of one day becoming a champion.
Matt Schubring is also one of the longest serving "Crusty Demons" tour riders, and knows his way around a Nac Nac. Truly passionate about FMX riding, he hopes to develop a 'kids' ramp that juniors can use to practice tricks at home.
"It’s been a long time in the making really to get this line of toys underway; I hope to have a full replica mini take off and landing ramp in the future and get kids as young as eight practicing their tricks and hopefully getting into FMX," Matt Schubring said.
"We’ve already began working on improving what we have moving forward. There’s a lot to think about, but I’m really enjoying the challenge," added Schubring.
Schubring will be the initial distributor of the Little Schuie Toy Co products, and can be contacted at schuie@windowslive.com or via phone on (07) 5463 2402.
The FMX legend expects to have the toys into motorcycle dealerships and toy stores around Australia.
