Limited Harley-Davidson Fat Boy Gray Ghost revealed

Harley-Davidson teased a special edition model a few weeks ago, and now it has arrived

Harley-Davidson has added a fifth model to its prized Icons collection, with the limited-edition Fat Boy Gray Ghost presenting a new take on the classic Fat Boy platform.

The Milwaukee manufacturer recently launched its 2025 Softail models in Australia, and the brand teased a new special-edition Fat Boy which was “rolling off the lines in York”. Now H-D has pulled the covers off that model.

Limited to just 1990 units globally (a nod to the Fat Boy’s 1990 origins), the Fat Boy Gray Ghost will carry a ride away price tag of $41,750AUD.

The Icons collection includes serialised models that are produced for one year only and which are usually decked out in premium features.

Boasting the updated Milwuakee-Eight 117 Custom powertrain, new suspension, ride modes, safety features, and electronics, the Gray Ghost follows the 2025 updates of the standard Fat Boy but adds impressive visual elements which will certainly turn heads.

A special “Reflection” finish uses what H-D calls physical vapour deposition (PVD) process that gives the Gray Ghost a shimmering look in sunlight. It gives the impression that the whole bike has been dipped in chrome.

The Gray Ghost joins the Electra Glide Revival, Low Rider El Diablo, Electra Glide Highway King, and Hyrdra-Glide Revival in the Icons collection.
