LandBoss UTV hits Australia
A new player in the UTV market, powered by an 800cc three-cylinder diesel enginePrimary producers are becoming becoming even more spoilt for choice, with Victorian-based importer Mojo Motorcycles adding the LandBoss UTV to its portfolio.
The LandBoss is powered by an 800cc three-cylinder diesel engine form Japanese manufacturer Perkins, and was debuted this week at the Agquip Field Days in Gunnedah, NSW. The engine has 500-hour service intervals.
Director, Michael Poynton said the company saw an opportunity for high quality, diesel powered, side-by-side vehicles due to few options in this category and high demand over the past two years.
“We’ve been around long enough to know that Aussies, especially agricultural buyers have a strong preference for diesel vehicles and believe the Landboss range… will become a popular choice," said Mojo Motorcycles Director Michael Poynton. “The vehicles themselves are also of the highest spec with the UTV800D LE featuring electronic power steering, roof, windscreen, six ply tyres, 2WD/ 4WD selectable drive modes and a heavy duty winch.
It has a towing capacity of 700kg, can haul an extra 450kg in the tray, and has a certified roll frame, gas-assisted tip tray and independent A-Arm suspension. As well as farming, the UTV also has industrial and mining applications.
The Landboss, Powered by Perkins is geared towards not only primary producers but also at more heavy duty applications such as industrial, mining and government fleet use.
