Kymco UXV450i side-by-side

A new utility as the Taiwanese's manufacturer begins life under a new Aussie master

Kymco has launched the new UXV 450i utility side-by-side vehicle, joining the UXV500 and UXV700 in the Aussie line-up. It's priced at $11,990, backed by a factory three-year warranty.

The machine has a bench seat, a fuel-injected 450cc engine good for 33hp, tilting cargo bed, tailgate, and underhood, under-seat and lockable in-dash storage.

“We’ve worked really hard to get this right. You’re not leaving anyone behind and there’s more than enough storage space. There’s even a trailer hitch as standard,” said new Aussie Kymco boss Michael Poynton from Mojo Motorcycles, which has just taken over local importation.

“This is a new engine for us, the torque is great and the power is super smooth which is great for when you’re running around at low speed or reversing up to a trailer but there’s still plenty to get you seriously moving.

“We’re going to have an extremely busy 2016. There is an incredible range of new products that have been developed with Australian customers in mind that are now ready to launch

“It’s time to ramp things up here and start delivering our farmers real value for money.”
