KYMCO's 700cc SSV scores an update

A swag of updates for a $500 premium over 2015 model
KYMCO has updated its UXV 700i LE EPS side-by-side vehicle for 2016 with electronic power steering, a 3000-pound winch, 14-inch black alloy wheels and metallic paint among the new model’s improvements.
The fuel-injected water-cooled 695cc single-cylinder engine is carried over from the previous model and is matched to the same automatic CVT transmission. It boasts push-button selectable 2WD/4WD, a tilting cargo bed, side-window netting and 12 inches of ground clearance.

"This part of the market is really booming as both recreational and agricultural users start to get their heads around the very real safety and performance benefits of running this type of vehicle," said KYMCO’s Australia’s Michael Poynton, who believes the updated model will bolster the Australian market’s growing interest in the Taiwanese-built vehicles. "Late last year we launched the first of our next-generation models. That has been an incredibly successful launch and we’re expecting similar results with the UXV 700i LE EPS."

The UXV 700i LE EPS will carry a recommended retail price of  $14,990 (plus pre-delivery and freight charges) and comes with a three-year warranty.
